RQM Installation
The full installation file, rqm270install.exe, should be installed on each computer workstation where RQM will be in use.
We recommend that you use this package to install a fresh copy of RQM if you have an older version of the RQM 2.x CD. This will install RQM 2.8.0 on your computer without the need to download and install a separate update to get the latest version.
We recommend that you fully update your computer using Windows Update to ensure you have the latest components from Microsoft before installing RQM. Versions of Windows prior to XP Service Pack 2 may have difficulty installing RQM. Please contact support if you run into problems with installation on older computers.
.Net 2.0 Framework
Please note that versions 2.7.0a and higher require the Microsoft .Net 2.0 Framework be installed on the client computer for full functionality of RQM, particularly any features that require internet connectivity.
To test to see if the .Net Framework is installed on your computer, you can download a test file from: ftp://ftp.pindersoft.com/DotNetTestDNF2.zip and run the application contained within. If you receive an error message, you need to install the framework.
