RQM Installation
The full installation file, rqmInstall30.exe, should be installed on each computer workstation where RQM will be in use.
Please make sure to read the 3.0 Release Notes prior to installing or upgrading RQM, for information on system requirements.
We recommend that you fully update your computer using Windows Update to ensure you have the latest components from Microsoft before installing RQM. Versions of Windows prior to XP Service Pack 2 may have difficulty installing RQM. Please contact support if you run into problems with installation on older computers.
.Net 2.0 Framework
Please note that versions 3.0 and higher require the Microsoft .Net 2.0 Framework be installed on the client computer for full functionality of RQM, particularly any features that require internet connectivity. This is built into newer versions of Windows, including Vista, 2008 Server, and Windows 7, but is not included by default in Windows XP.
To test to see if the .Net Framework is installed on your computer, you can download a test file from: ftp://ftp.pindersoft.com/DotNetTestDNF2.zip and run the application contained within. If you receive an error message, you need to install the framework.
